We wanted to share a small update regarding our Saturday teaching team.

Katie will be stepping away from her Saturday teaching classes so that she can focus on her university studies and continue expanding her knowledge within the education industry. She is currently gaining valuable experience supporting SEN students in nursery settings on a 1:1 basis, which is a fantastic opportunity for her professional development.

Katie will very much remain part of the Rosehill family, so you will still see her around the school. She will also, of course, be performing in our upcoming show, and we look forward to seeing her on stage.

As Katie steps back from Saturday teaching, we are delighted to welcome a new student student teacher, Izzy, to the Rosehill Dance Academy team.

Izzy has been dancing since the age of 4 and has trained in a variety of styles including ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary and musical theatre. She has been working through her IDTA and NATD grades in ballet and tap and has achieved up to Grade 6 so far.

Throughout her training, Izzy has had the opportunity to perform on many incredible stages, including His Majesty’s Theatre in London, Blackpool Winter Gardens, Birmingham Hippodrome and the Superweekender main stage.

Izzy has been teaching dance for the past five years. She began by assisting with baby ballet classes and has since progressed to teaching acro after gaining her NATD Acrobatic teaching certification. She also teaches musical theatre and dance at after-school clubs in local schools, alongside studying for a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Performing Arts (Dance) at Stratford-upon-Avon College.

Izzy is very excited to be joining the Rosehill Dance Academy team, and we are delighted to have her with us. She will be starting this Saturday, teaching Rosebuds, Juvenile Jazz with Tayla, and assisting in other classes.

Please join us in wishing Katie the very best with this next step in her studies, and in giving Izzy a warm Rosehill welcome.
